Inspiration: Antique Orchard Ladders

Ive been seeing a lot more of these awesome antique orchard ladders being re-used and re-purposed in design. I think theres a great way to decorate your home or office with because theyre so interesting to look at. Below is a picture of antique bookcase orchard ladder I saw a couple of weeks ago at Anthropologie, I liked how they utilized the space with books and decorative pillows. This ladder is pretty large but, Ive seen smaller ones that arent as big. I found some decorative ways that people have re-used or re-purposed these orchard ladders.

A ladder pot rack hung from the kitchen ceiling. Also on the plus side its space saving if youre limited on space in your kitchen.

Design blog Remodelista showcased an antique ladder propped up in this cozy living room. A nice decorative touch with a blanket hanging off it for easy and pretty storage.

A bold closet with glossy black shoe racks work wonders for displaying high heels, more up to date version of the ladder look.

A vintage farmhouse kitchen displays elegant linens & burlap towels on their vintage ladder. Also another great room is a powder room or bathroom using orchard ladders.

There really are an endless amount of creative ways to decorating with antique ladders.

Theyve now become a priority of mine to find at the next big flea market or estate sale I go to!
